Cultivation Objective
The Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering program is based on the concept of "New Engineering and Technical Disciplines". Aligned with the development strategy of a strong manufacturing country, the program aims to foster comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor skills. Students will acquire knowledge in intelligent equipment design and application, intelligent process planning, precision measurement and control theory, operation and management of intelligent production systems, as well as intelligent equipment fault diagnosis, maintenance, and repair. The program focuses on cultivating the ability to tackle complex engineering problems in the field of intelligent manufacturing, including the discovery, analysis, and resolution of issues encountered in engineering practice. Graduates will possess interdisciplinary skills that combine mechanical engineering, electronics and telecommunications, automation control, and intelligent manufacturing. They will be well-rounded and equipped to contribute as engineering professionals in the field of intelligent manufacturing.

Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering is a new engineering major added by the Ministry of Education in 2018.
