Cultivation Objectives
This program is based on the concept of "New Engineering and Technical Disciplines" and aims to cultivate graduates who uphold the Party's leadership and adhere to its fundamental principles. It emphasizes comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor skills in order to meet the needs of regional economic and social development. Students in this program will acquire a solid foundation in natural sciences, and engineering fundamentals, as well as core knowledge and basic skills in the field of electronic information. They will develop strong abilities in self-directed learning, professional competence, and problem-solving in complex engineering scenarios. Graduates will be prepared to work in various aspects of electronic equipment and information systems, including manufacturing, design, development, application, sales, maintenance, and management in the field of electronic information and related industries. They will be the applied talents who have strong practical skills and an innovative spirit.
Specifically, the objectives of this program can be divided into the following aspects:
1. Knowledge system: to train students to acquire solid basic theoretical knowledge of mathematics, physics, electronics, communication technology, computer technology, and information processing technology, so that they can have strong problem-analysis and problem-solving ability.

Characteristics
Based on the education concept of "New Engineering and Technical Disciplines", this program focuses on the Nanning Strong Capital Strategy, the construction of the Guangxi Free Trade Zone and serves the national "One Belt, One Road" strategy, aiming at the demand of electronic information technology in the fields of precision agriculture, smart city, smart power, and intelligent manufacturing. Relying on the advantages of Beidou Open Laboratory in Nanning University, the cooperation platform of Electronic Information Industrial Park, and the instructor team of the National Student Electronic Design Competition, we cultivate students' engineering practice ability, high-tech application ability and innovation and entrepreneurship ability in a multi-faceted, multi-channel and three-dimensional way so that students can adapt to the working environment quickly after graduation and contribute to the economic development of the region.
