2025 International Conference on Intelligent Transportation and New Energy Technology (ITNET 2025) was successfully hosted at Nanning University from April 25 to 27. Organized by Nanning University and co-organized by its College of Traffic and Transportation, with technical support from IEEE, the event convened global experts and scholars to explore cutting-edge advancements at the intersection of intelligent transportation and new energy technologies. The opening ceremony on April 26 was attended by Prof. Li Taoshen, Vice President of Nanning University; Dr. Gong Ji, Vice President; Prof. Zhang Yanwen, Director of Office of Scientific Research and Discipline Construction; and Dr. Qin Fengcai, Director of Office of Development Planning and Cooperation and Exchange . Prof. Li Taoshen delivered an inspiring opening address.

Centered on the theme "Intelligent Transportation and New Energy Technologies," the conference provided a premier platform for cross-border academic dialogue and industrial collaboration. Over a dozen leading scholars from prestigious institutions, including Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen), Fuzhou University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Wuhan University, and Guangxi University, presented their latest research findings and innovative concepts. Discussions revolved around critical topics such as radio transmission technology, advanced battery materials, and smart transportation systems, probing pathways for technological innovation and theoretical breakthroughs. Nearly 180 faculty and student delegates engaged in in-depth exchanges, fostering industry-academia-research synergy and interdisciplinary cooperation.

The conference program featured keynote speeches and oral presentations. Distinguished speakers included Prof. Zhang Mingming, Director of the Green Energy Institute at Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen); Prof. Zhang Yiming, Deputy Dean of Fuzhou University’s School of Electrical Engineering and Automation; Prof. Liu Chengxi’s team from Wuhan University; Prof. Huang Haozhong, Deputy Dean of Guangxi University’s School of Mechanical Engineering; Researcher Huang Dan from Guangxi University; and Researcher Yuan Xianxia from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Their keynotes spanned diverse research domains, offering profound insights into frontier innovations and practical applications.

Following the keynote sessions, eight scholars from institutions including Guangxi University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Nanning University delivered oral presentations. The conference also recognized outstanding contributions through awards for the best oral presentations and posters, with winners announced during the closing ceremony.

The event was marked by a vibrant academic atmosphere, where experts shared insights and experiences, bridging theoretical innovation with real-world applications. These discussions sparked creative thinking and stimulated enthusiastic debates among participants, underscoring the transformative potential of these technologies.

The success of ITNET 2025 not only strengthened global academic cooperation but also injected fresh momentum into interdisciplinary research at the nexus of transportation and new energy.
