Visiting Delegation from Two Colleges in Laos and Guangxi Economic and Trade Vocational Institute visited Nanning University

On September 24, the delegation from Laos Dongkhamsang Agricultural College, Technical College of Vientiane Province, and Guangxi Economic and Trade Vocational Institute visited Nanning University(UNN) for exchanges. 


Gong Ji, Vice President of UNN, expressed his sincere welcome to the visiting delegation at the symposium. He put forward the expectation that both sides can deeply understand each other's existing resources and research directions through this exchange, and strive to carry out comprehensive and in-depth cooperation in many aspects, such as talent training, faculty building, scientific research cooperation and so on. Subsequently, Li Junyi, Director of Office of Development Planning and Cooperation and Exchange and Deputy Dean of College of ASEAN Studies(serving concurrently), reported on UNNs international exchanges and cooperation. Li Qingnian, Dean of College of Information Engineering, introduced the cooperation between UNN and Huawei.


After listening to the speech of the representatives of UNN, the representatives of the two Colleges in Laos spoke highly of the achievements of UNN in running the school and the special talent training mode, and proposed the intention of cooperation. Chittakonh SISANONH, President of Laos Dongkhamsang Agricultural College, looked forward to future cooperation and exchanges with UNN in ICT to enhance the professional skills of students from his own college. And Thonglor VILAYTHONG, President of Technical College of Vientiane Province believed that both school have a lot in common in terms of teaching and have a broad space for cooperation. He hoped that UNN will support and guide the construction of mobile phone repair courses in Technical College of Vientiane Province.


Through the opportunity, UNN began to exchange with colleges in Laos, laying a good foundation for the cooperation between both sides. In the future, UNN will maintain close contact with colleges in Laos and expand mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of education.


Also presented at the symposium were ONHSENGMANY INPON, Deputy Head of Education Department of Laos Dongkhamsang Agricultural College, Chanthavong KEOVILAY, Vice President of Technical College of Vientiane Province, representatives of Guangxi Economic and Trade Vocational Institute, representatives of College of Intelligent Manufacturing and College of Food and Quality Engineering, UNN. Before symposium, the delegation visited Art Corridor, ICT Industry-teaching Integration Innovation Base and Intelligent Manufacturing Research and Development Center.
