On September 13th, representatives of Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur(IUKL) China Office visited Nanning University (UNN) for discussion and exchange. Representatives of Office of Development Planning and Cooperation and Exchange and College of ASEAN Studies of Nanning University received the visitors in Conference Room 321, the Administration Building.

Wu Jie, Dean of College of ASEAN Studies, and Li Junyi, Director of Office of Development Planning and Cooperation and Exchange, Deputy Dean of College of ASEAN Studies(also), expressed a warm welcome to the visit in Seminar Between Representatives of IUKL and College of ASEAN Studies. Subsequently, both sides focused on the English language training program MUET (Malaysian University English Test) and started an in-depth discussion. Xing Liya, Director of China Liaison Office of IUKL, elaborated in detail on the background, implementation difficulties and specific requirements of the MUET program. Wu Jie put forward corresponding strategies and ideas based on the actual situation of Nanning University.

After the seminar, UNN-IUKL Master’s Cooperation Program Promotion Meeting that chaired by Li Junyi followed. The leader of College of Architecture and Civil Engineering shared the progress of the cooperation program with IUKL. Afterwards, the representative of China Liaison Office of IUKL introduced the specifics of the master’s cooperation program, and carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions on the study programs of Master in Communication, Master in Electronics Engineering, Master of Information Technology, etc. to clarify the direction and keys of the cooperation.

The program is of great significance to enhance students’ knowledge and personal abilities, improve the reputation of the two universities, and build a high-level international cooperation network. Both sides are looking forward to deepening understanding and friendship in the future, and exploring more diversified and deeper cooperation modes together. This will create more diversified learning and development opportunities for the teachers and students of Nanning University, and hand in hand to promote the cooperation between the two universities to a new height, which is mutually beneficial and win-win.

Also presented at the meeting were leaders and Foreign affairs secretaries of College of Architecture and Civil Engineering, College of Intelligent Manufacturing, College of Information Engineering and College of Art and Design respectively.
