On September 13, Opening Ceremony of 2024 Nanning-ASEAN Month of Talent Exchange and the 11th Nanning Matchmaking Conference of Overseas High-level Talents and Projects was held in Ming Du Lakeside Hotel, Nanning. Fan Yi, Dean of College of Traffic and Transportation, on behalf of Nanning University, attended the event and signed the “High-level Talents Introduction Project for ASEAN Countries for Guangxi Key Laboratory of International Join for China-ASEAN Comprehensive Transportation” with Dr. AHMAD NAZRUL HAKIMI BIN IBRAHIM from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
This event, a major event organized by Nanning, aimed to increase the efforts of talent introduction and cultivation, and show the effectiveness of talent work. Nanning successfully signed a number of high-level talent projects involving transportation, scientific research, education and other fields at the Opening Ceremony of 2024 Nanning-ASEAN Month of Talent Exchange. The purpose was to promote scientific and technological innovation and industrial development in Nanning through the introduction of high-level talents from home and abroad.
“High-level Talents Introduction Project for ASEAN Countries for Guangxi Key Laboratory of International Join for China-ASEAN Comprehensive Transportation” introduced Dr. AHMAD NAZRUL HAKIMI BIN IBRAHIM, an expert in the fields of traffic safety and transportation engineering, to make Guangxi Key Laboratory of International Join for China-ASEAN Comprehensive Transportation as a platform to carry out research projects in the field of transportation, and to hold academic reports and conferences, etc. It will further promote more international cooperative research projects, boost in-depth cooperation between China and ASEAN countries in the field of transportation, and cultivate and form a group of high-level scientific research teams with international vision.
The event not only demonstrated Nanning University’s achievements in talent introduction and cultivation, but also highlighted its active role in promoting regional cooperation and international exchanges. Nanning University will continue to deepen the exchange and cooperation of talents with ASEAN countries, attract more high-level talents at home and abroad, and contribute to the economic and social development of Nanning and even the whole region.
