The National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) project “Fuzzy Optimal Control of Fractional Order Nonlinear Systems” was approved according to the evaluation results of the 2024 centralized application projects announced by NSFC. The project was jointly submitted by Wei Zhu’e, the teacher from College of Information Engineering of Nanning University, and the team of Professor Zhang Xiulan from Guangxi Minzu University. The funding of the project was 270,000 RMB, of which 67,500 RMB was allocated to Nanning University. The approval of the project is not only a new breakthrough for the college, but also for Nanning University, in terms of the NSFC!

In recent years, with the strong support of the school, College of Information Engineering attaches great importance to the application and implementation of NSFC projects. It has been holding fast to the establishment and improvement of the scientific research management service system of the college, systematically implementing the organizational work of fund application, and actively carrying out activities such as fund application mobilization meeting, writing counseling meeting and applications exchange meeting. At the same time, effective measures have been taken to introduce, cultivate and utilize young talents in an all-round way, and encourage young teachers to devote themselves to scientific research, which has achieved certain results. A group of young people are gradually growing into the backbone of the development of the college, which has laid a good foundation for promoting the follow-up teaching and research of the college. The faculty and students of College of Information Engineering will continue to work together to strive for another success.
