1. Implementation of a multidisciplinary cross-training strategy.

The Digital Economy program emphasizes the development of students' comprehensive abilities through a cross-training approach that combines engineering, economics, and management disciplines. It is a practical implementation of cultivating "technology + management" composite abilities. The logical progression of these abilities is through the construction of economic models and leveraging data analysis, computer technology, and other means to enhance decision-making capabilities and management proficiency in enterprises.

2. Focus on cultivating digital commerce talents targeting the ASEAN region.

Based in Guangxi and taking advantage of the social context of China-ASEAN digital economic cooperation, the program aims to contribute to the development of China (Guangxi) Free Trade Zone, the construction of a digital Guangxi, and the establishment of the Guangxi RCEP (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership) demonstration zone. In line with the development goal of being rooted in Guangxi, radiating to the southwest, and facing the ASEAN region, the program focuses on cultivating talents in digital commerce to meet the needs of Guangxi's digital economy development.
