A special evening gala themed "Youth Pays Tribute to a Prosperous Era, Aesthetic Education Unlocks Original Aspirations" served as the grand finale of the freshman orientation program and was successfully staged on the school's track and field ground, drawing an audience of over three thousand teachers and students. Organized by the Communist Youth League Committee of Nanning University and undertaken by the University's Student Art Troupe, the event aimed to guide freshmen in fastening the "first button" of their university journey through artistic expressions.
Despite having been on campus for over a month, the atmosphere at the gala remained electric. A series of performances, including rousing instrumental music, heartfelt choral singing, elegant etiquette displays, and dynamic street dances, unfolded one after another. Programs such as "Shine, Youthful Flame," "Blue and White Porcelain," and "Hero" not only showcased the talents of senior students but also provided freshmen with a glimpse into the vibrant and diverse campus culture. This unique "aesthetic education practice class" vividly presented the values education that the school has been promoting since the start of the semester through the medium of art.
"The gala not only marked the climax of a month-long campus cultural life but also aimed to guide freshmen in contemplating how to plan their university careers while perceiving and appreciating beauty," explained the head of the Communist Youth League Committee at Nanning University. Many freshmen expressed that after a month on campus, this high-caliber gala had deepened their understanding of the school's atmosphere of "cultivating individuals through culture and nurturing them through beauty," thereby strengthening their sense of identity and belonging to the university.
