On May 14, 2024, Vice President Gong Ji led a team to Wenshan University for exchange, aiming to strengthen school-university cooperation, promote the sharing of high-quality education and teaching resources, and join hands for mutual benefit and win-win situation.

Accompanied by Liu Fangtao, Director of the Office of Wenshan University and Director of Foreign Cooperation and Exchanges, and Xin Wenfeng, Dean of Sanqi College of Medicine, Vice President Gong Ji and his delegation visited Sanqi Science and Technology Park, Sanqi Research Institute, and College of Fine Arts and Design of Wenshan University. In the Sanqi Science and Technology Park, Xin Wenfeng introduced the construction of the Sanqi College of Health Industry and went deep into the Wenshan Medicinal Plants Resource Nursery to learn more about Panax notoginseng cultivation in the field. At the Sanqi Research Institute, Xin Wenfeng introduced the background of the construction of the Institute, the construction results, etc., and visited the Sanqi Science and Technology Museum, to further understand that Wenshan University effectively combines talent cultivation, scientific research, and Panax pseudoginseng industry. In the College of Fine Arts and Design, Sun Hua, Dean of the college, introduced the schooling characteristics of the college and visited the paper-cutting training room.

Subsequently, Vice President Dai Shunxiang of Wenshan University and Vice President Gong Ji had a discussion and exchange. At the meeting, Vice President Dai Shunxiang introduced the history of Wenshan University, summarized the characteristics of Wenshan University, and expressed the desire for cooperation between the two universities. Vice President Gong Ji expressed his gratitude to Wenshan University for its warm reception and suggested that Wenshan University's in-depth integration of Sanqi culture with talent cultivation and scientific research was impressive, which brought a lot of inspiration for Nanning University to run schools based on the local area. He also mentioned that Nanning University has a profound friendship with Wenshan University and a good foundation for cooperation. He suggested that the two universities should give full play to their respective strengths in the future in terms of student exchange and communication, teachers' scientific research cooperation, international exchange and cooperation, etc., to make in-depth cooperation and common progress. The two sides carried out in-depth exchanges on the content of cooperation, the relevant person in charge of Wenshan University successively put forward suggestions on the content of cooperation, and the personnel of our visiting delegation responded to the mode of cooperation, and the two sides reached a consensus on cooperation.
