On May 21st, Mr. Kanakorn Sawangcharoen, President of BansomdejChaopraya Rajabhat University, led a delegation to visit Nanning University. This visit not only enhanced the friendship between the two universities but also drew a grand blueprint for future educational cooperation. The delegation first visited the Art Gallery, ICT Industry-Education Integration Innovation Base, Guangxi Key Laboratory of International Join for China-ASEAN Comprehensive Transportation, Library, and Qingxiu Bridge, and spoke highly of the campus environment, teaching facilities, and scientific research strength.
The two sides carried out talks and exchanges in Conference Room 400 of the Administration Building. Mr. Kanakorn Sawangcharoen, President of BansomdejChaopraya Rajabhat University, Mr. Li Dongxue, President of Nanning University, and heads of relevant departments of the two universities attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Wei Yuegui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of Nanning University.
President Li Dongxue firstly expressed his warm welcome to the President of Royal BansomdejChaopraya Rajabhat University and his delegation and briefly introduced the development history, school running characteristics, and international cooperation of Nanning University. He said that Nanning University has always been committed to carrying out exchanges and cooperation with internationally renowned universities. As a famous university in Thailand, BansomdejChaopraya Rajabhat University has a wide range of prospects for cooperation with Nanning University in many fields. He expected that both sides could further strengthen exchanges and cooperation, and jointly promote the prosperity and development of education.
President Kanakorn Sawangcharoen expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of Nanning University and introduced the schooling situation and international cooperation experience of BansomdejChaopraya Rajabhat University in detail. He said that BansomdejChaopraya Rajabhat University has always been committed to providing students with high-quality educational resources and an internationalized learning environment. The cooperation with Nanning University will provide more opportunities for teachers and students of both sides to learn and exchange. He expected that the two universities could carry out in-depth cooperation in many fields such as education, scientific research, and cultural exchanges, and jointly promote the development of education in the two countries.
Both sides reviewed and summarized the memorandum of understanding jointly signed last year and the results of cooperation. They also discussed in depth the new mode of cooperation through sharing experiences and reached a consensus on scientific research cooperation, talent cultivation, curriculum construction, and other aspects. The two sides will further promote the implementation of the student exchange program and summer study tour program, and jointly create an educational cooperation program at the international level. During the meeting, the two universities also exchanged views on the preparations for the Nanning University Open Cooperation and Development Conference to be held in June. President Li Dongxue said that he looked forward to broadening the international vision and increasing international partners of Nanning University through the conference.
